EPIC 192 (Registered Charity Number – 1194990) was founded by Assemblies of God GB Ministers, Richard and Amba Keeble, in June 2021 to raise awareness and support for the needs of local people living in the Highway 192 area of Central Florida, USA.
Richard and Amba have been involved in Christian ministry for 20 years including leading churches and running community projects. Richard started EPIC Dad Community Interest Company in Suffolk in 2018 which focuses on supporting fathers, father figures, and families through one-to-one support, parenting courses, dads and children’s clubs, and many other fatherhood support activities.
Richard and Amba have three children (Bethany, Nathan, and Samuel) who share their vision and passion for US Highway 192. Richard and Amba are joined by Michael Tingey and Jon and Carly Butler on their team of trustees. Together they want to serve the 192 community through fundraising, prayer support and mission trips.
After visiting Kissimmee a few times over the years, Rich and Amba have become more aware of the difficult situation affecting many families. Due to the high cost of living, many families can’t afford to rent their own home and end up all living together in a small motel room along Highway 192. These hidden families, who live just up the road from Walt Disney World, often have lives very different from being in the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’. The mission of EPIC 192 is to reach the hidden families with the Father’s love. We want people to know that God sees them, hears them, and is with them.
